Welcome to Early Years
Welcome to reception! We’re so excited to be welcoming you to St Paul’s Catholic Primary School. This half term will see the children settling into life at school, exploring their new classroom and school environment. Our topic this half term is ‘Family and Friends’ so please bring in a photo of your family to add to our class display. Keep an eye out for an invitation from your child to our end of topic tea party.

Class Names: St Anne and St Peter
Hello our names are Mrs Jamieson, Mrs Hoile and Miss Clark, we are the reception teachers at St Paul’s Catholic Primary School.
Being in Reception is so much fun, every day we do phonics which helps us become great readers and writers. We have discovery time where we explore our classroom and help our learning independently.
An important part of reception is our outside classroom we use this every day and explore many different things such as sand and water.
Parents and carers are invited in to the classroom every morning from 8:40am to share a book with their child and then on Fridays to look through their children's learning journey.
We look forward to seeing you.
