Our School council is made up to two elected representatives from each class. The council meets fortnightly during term time to discuss issues raised at class meetings and their class suggestion boxes. We feel the School Council makes a valuable contribution towards the continued success of St Paul's.
Our Purpose
We are the voice of the students at St Paul's.
·We find ways to improve our school.
·We ensure things are completed and aim to make our school the best it can be.
·We give every pupil a voice and make all decision making fair.
·We live out our Mission Statement, "Do everything with Love" by helping others in our local community and around the world.
Roles within our School Council
Chairperson: The Chairperson runs the meetings. They help form and shares the meeting’s agenda with the school council and works through this.
Vice Chair Person: The Vice Chairperson needs to be prepared to lead the meeting if the Chair is absent. They also support the Chairperson in their role, when required.
Secretary: The secretary takes the minutes during the meeting on the meeting slides. These are then shared by class reps at class meetings.
Treasurer: The treasurer has the responsibility to keep track of funds raised and spent by the school council.
