The Nursery Team

Here are St Paul's Nursery we have a well established Nursery Team with a variety of experience and qualifications.

	Nursery Manager Steph Smith Qualifications / training BA Hons Degree in Education Studies Early Years SENCo Accreditation Level 3 Leadership and Management Diploma Safer Recruitment in Education Safeguarding Paediatric First Aid Food Hygiene
Hello, I am Steph the Nursery Manager. I have worked at St Paul’s Nursery since 2015 but have worked within the Early Years since 2005. I have experience of working with children from 3 months to 5 years old. As part of my role within St Paul's Nursery I am a key worker, I carry out the settings administrative roles, I am a deputy DSL and am the Early Years Accredited SENCo. I have also supported the main school with SEND and inclusion. I regularly attend training courses to stay up to date with changes within the Early Years sector, which I then bring back to update and train the Nursery team. I am really proud of our Nursery team, who all work effectively together promoting positive parent/carer partnerships and provide stimulating activities for the children in our care.


	Nursery Nurse Debbie Gray Qualifications / training Level 3 NVQ in Child Care Food Hygiene Paediatric First Aid Safeguarding
Hi I am Debbie and I am a key worker. I have worked at St Paul’s since 2003. I love to be creative and use the children’s interests to create props for them to play with, such as pirate ships and fire engines.


	Nursery Nurse Kirsty Clover Qualifications / training NVQ3 Children’s Care Learning and Development Food Hygiene Safeguarding Paediatric First Aid
Hi I am Kirsty, I am a key worker for the children. I have worked at St Paul’s since 2016 and have experience of working within Nurseries with children aged between 3months and 5 years old.




	Nursery Nurse Melissa Callard Qualifications / training BA Degree in Early Years Paediatric First Aid Safeguarding Food Hygiene
Hi I am Melissa and I am a key worker for the children. I have worked at St Paul’s since 2017 but have over 28 years experience of working in childcare with children and families from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I have worked in various settings including day nurseries and holiday play schemes with children aged from 0-12 years.
	Nursery Nurse Sarah Blandford. Qualifications / training NVQ 3 In Childcare and Education Food Hygiene Paediatric First Aid Safeguarding
Hi I am Sarah and I am a key worker for the children, I have worker at St Paul’s since 2018 but have over 10 years experience of working in childcare with children aged 2 years and above.
