Science Day 2021

On Monday, children across the school enjoyed a day of Science activities. Teachers in each year group planned an exciting day for the children to take part in science investigations and practise their working scientifically skills.

The morning kicked off with a very firey experiment demonstrated by Dr Mcdonagh from Castle View. The children then spent the day planning, predicting and carrying out their investigations. These ranged from making rainbows, creating potions and dying flowers in KS1 to testing materials for Roman shields, looking how blubber keeps seals warm, eggs drops and measuring heart-rate in KS2.
